This study aims to identify the factors affecting productivity management and rank its improvements within government service organizations. In terms of the type of data, this is a descriptive, applied, and inferential survey, and it is both qualitative and quantitative. This paper follows a three-step process. The theoretical sampling method was thus used to select a sample of 15 productivity experts from within the university and managers from government organizations in Tehran province for semi-structured interviews. It is a specialized sampling method. The interviews were analyzed using NVivo Plus software. Additionally, 102 items were derived from the interviews, based upon open coding, and classified into 21 sub-indexes and two main indices. As part of the second stage, the quantitative aspect of the research, Shannon Entropy, was used to determine the importance of various factors affecting productivity management. The third stage of ranking productivity improvement strategies in public service organizations utilized the MABAC method. The results showed that the indices of accountability, work experience, interdepartmental challenge, expertise and skill, flexibility, interdepartmental communication, training, workload, structure transparency, information and communication technology, organizational culture, safety and health, research and development, leadership style, innovation, and creativity, respectively, gained the highest degree of importance among the factors affecting the productivity management of government service organizations. Further, research findings indicate that improving service efficiency, improving service standards, improving service effectiveness, developing a program to improve service productivity, encouraging leadership involvement, and establishing periodic monitoring are the most effective strategies for improving productivity in government service organizations.

Firms, regardless of their nature, are focused on improving their quality. Different factors have been identified by the previous researchers that influence the employee performance (EP). Work-life balance (WLB) is encouraged as an inclusive policy, directed at all workers to achieve a more harmonious balance between their work responsibilities and their personal responsibilities and interests. This study offers new insight into the implications of regulatory changes on the organizational policies related to WLB for improving EP from a developing country like Bangladesh. The main purpose of the study is to investigate the interfacing relationship between WLB and EP in the private commercial banks in Bangladesh. This study reviewed previous literature to find different empirical and theoretical contributions in establishing WLB and EP. The study mainly used a quantitative research method to explore the current scenario of WLB, identify the factors that affect the WLB, and finally measure the level of impact of the WLB on the EP in the banking industry of Bangladesh. Total 325 bankers were selected conveniently from different branches of the top ten selected banks. SPSS and smart PLS were used to analyze data. Descriptive statistics and SEM analysis were employed in the study. This study argues that when there is an association among the factors of WLB, there is the likelihood that the EP of the organization will be improved. Hence the study concludes that the banking industry needs to improve WLB position, which will ultimately improve organizational performance through EP.

This paper aims to predict stock prices using open, high, low, close variables using artificial neural networks, especially the adaptive fuzzy neural inference system (ANFIS). Each stock has a different pattern and can be predicted if you have complete data. This study is limited by stock data for 2012-2019. The survey was conducted to collect stock data from the Yahoo Finance website. The stock data used is data from 2001-2018. Learning patterns of data patterns using the Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) were compared with regression analysis, Mean Square Error (MSE) and Mean Prediction Error. The results show that stock price predictions using the Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) have a small error rate (below 1 percent). The stock price at closing is determined by the open price and the volume of the stock. The value of the highest price of the stock and the lowest value of the stock follows the determined value of the opening price. This paper contributes to existing research in economics, especially stock investment and Financial Technology.

There have been various approaches to the supply chain such as lean, agile, robustness, sustainability, resilient, and green that each one focuses on supply chain from specific aspect. One of the new approaches to the supply chain is an integration of Lean, Agile, Resilient, and Green (LARG) that benefiting from the advantages of different approaches and avoiding their disadvantages. The present study proposes a model to design and evaluate LARG-based supply chain in Iran automotive industry using the concept of Axiomatic Design (AD) in a Hesitant Fuzzy (HF) environment. The study process consisted of two stages: designing stage and evaluating stage. In the first stage, the Functional Requirements (FR) and chain Design Parameters (DP) identified in the LARG supply chain based on the Delphi technique and literature review. Based on independence axiom, it should be considered that whether the satisfaction of one FR by the related DPs affects the quality of the other FR or not, which is examined based on the design matrix. In the second stage an integration of information axiom, the Best-Worst Method (BWM), and hesitant fuzzy logic was used to evaluate four supply chains in Iran automotive industry. The weight of supply chain criteria, the utility rate of desired supply chain criteria, and the current status for each supply chain criteria identified in this stage. The results indicated that the excellent LARG supply chain was consisted of 13 indicators. The model also revealed that the excellent supply chain was contained less information axiom and complexity.

The public sector should be equipped with new communication technologies such as social media to improve the quality of services. Social media as a new channel of government services leads to the emergence of E-government 2.0 and the realization of E-democracy. Meanwhile, identifying the beneficiaries and users of the above-mentioned technology, as well as the variety of services which can be provided is highly significant. The present study aimed to explain the concept of E-government 2.0 and identify users and a variety of services that can be provided on social media in developing countries by focusing on information and communication technology offices. Therefore, the mixed research method was used to achieve the research objective. In the qualitative phase, library surveys and semi-structured interviews were used while and in the quantitative phase, the researcher-made questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The results indicated that E-government 2.0 users are divided into two general groups of internal and external users while E-government 2.0 services are divided into five general categories including information services, financial-operational services, crisis management services, data services, and customized services. Conducting such a study was considered significant since E-government 2.0 literature paid less attention to the diversity of services and types of users. Using the results obtained from the study, it can be expected that managers and government sectors can plan and decide how to provide services to different groups of users. The result is the increased quality of services and the realization of e-democracy.

This paper has tried to assess the impact of COVID-19 on stock return in different sectors listed under Dhaka Stock Exchange in Bangladesh during the period from 08 March 2020 to 15 September 2020. To measure the impact of COVID-19 on stock return, daily change in number of confirmed cases and deaths have been used as independent variables and DSE stock return has been taken as variable of interest. Data were collected from Bangladesh Government’s official portal, DSE archive and annual reports of listed firms. Sample is selected using two stage sampling method which is a probabilistic model. To test the validity of the used model, Pearson’s correlations analysis, Breusch and Pagan’s heteroscedasticity test, White’s homoscedasticity test and Hausman’s fixed random tests are conducted. After testing the validity, fixed effect method of panel data regression model has been used to test the two hypotheses. The result reveals that most of the sectors responded negatively to the growth in COVID-19 confirmed cases. It is also observed that selected sectors reacted more proactively to the growth in number of deaths as compared to the growth in number of confirmed cases. Where banking and textile sectors are the most sufferers to the growth of both confirmed cases and deaths, pharmaceuticals & chemicals industry proved out to be the gainers. The findings will have policy implications for the regulators as well as for the investors to design the optimum portfolio of investment. The study will add new dimensions to the existing literature.

This study intended to fill the gap of defining four different facets pertaining to which factors consumers perceived when fulfilling their Korean food cravings. Primary factors that are directly linked with the consumer consideration when selecting the Korean restaurant are surveyed and analysed. The research results can be used by owners or managers of Korean restaurant to enhance their current performance, services, and products by transforming business strategy in accordance with consumers’ preference perception. This research also enlightens managers from the different industrial sector to adopt the proposed strategies to increase the business success rate. To complete the research, a positivism quantitative research paradigm and a deductive research approach were selected. 100 sample size of consumers from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur were selected through snowball sampling. The statistical analysing method applied are one sample t-test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation and the research variables are quality of food, customer service, menu selection, reputation, cleanliness, and ambience. This study showed that the relationship between gender and purchase intention are statistically significant however ANOVA results proved no significant value result hence the test failed to reject the null hypothesis. On the other hand, it is concluded from the findings that there is no statistical relationship between age, gender, and ethnicity while making purchase decision for any Korean restaurant in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The findings revealed that Malaysians have become highly interested in Korean food and generally prefer ramen, chigae, chimek and samgyupsal as their food choice. In addition, the report pointed out that among the 11 street foods, the most used term is "spicy", reflecting Malaysians' love for Korean food. Moreover, the factors perceived by customers hold greater significance for making a purchase decision for them regardless of the nature of the business.

In the last two decades, research on investigating factors influencing the consumer repurchase intention has advanced and become an important topic in the marketing society and literature. The objective of this paper is to compare the weight of service providers’ personality traits and service quality performances they provide to uncover the primary factor influencing a clients’ intention to revisit their beauty salon in a long-term relationship. The SERVQUAL model of service quality and Mini-Marker model of personality were employed to substantiate the hypothesized relationship. Based on 453 valid respondents from beauty salons’ visitors, empirical finding remarkably indicate that the hairstylist’s personality was the primary reason for clients to revisit beauty salons. The results demonstrate that the factors such as agreeableness, intellect, conscientiousness and extraversion respectively have been prioritized as the most effective reasons for re-visitation in the view of customers. From the service quality side, the dimension of tangibility is ranked as the first reason to revisit the beauty salon. Overall, the outcome of this study can be applied to beauty salons’ management process in the line with building a strong long-term customer relationship and in return sustain profitability.

Exerting motivation towards employees in any workplace plays a vital role in securing organizational goals. Various motivational factors were apprised in business literature and came through knowledge. Among them, work environment, job security, job inspiration and happiness at work are critical when dealing with employees’ job satisfaction. To test the retrospective statement in a structural equation modeling, Pakistan's telecommunication sector aimedat 515 respondents answered. These respondents were given closed-ended questionnaires and emerged in longitudinal information (data) with a six-month lag time. Commonly, most of the time researchers are apprehended with biased problems when dealing with longitudinal data, but luckily, a six months gap is enough to avoid such biased mistakes. Toevaluate the validity and reliability of the respect constructs is nevertheless the partial least square (PLS-SEM). Toward the amazement of a reader, the performed work provides a direct relationship of the work environment, job security and job inspiration with happiness at work. In the same fashion, an indirect relationship is observed with employees’ job satisfaction when dealing with the same analysis. To avoid further complications, the study directly provides a solid path for executives to recognize and appreciate the pleasant work environment, job security, and job intensity to maintain a successful business. It is the sole discretion to implement such policies by business experts, directors, and entrepreneurs in their respective organizations to maintain and achieve their goals for both short and long-term purposes.

Todays, everyone witnesses the influence and expansion of using information technology in delivering various services. Despite the expansion of using the above-mentioned services, there are still some risks to using such services. Thus, identifying such risks and adopting the necessary strategies to them are highly beneficial. As a result, the present study aimed to identify and rank the risks in the field of electronic service with an emphasis on information and communication technology offices. Thus, the research objective was realized using the mixed research method. In the qualitative phase of the study, the library method and semi-structured interviews were used for identifying the electronic service risk pattern and in the quantitative phase, a researcher-made questionnaire was used as a data collection tool and the fuzzy TOPSIS test was used for ranking the risks identified during the first phase. The results indicated that electronic service risks are divided into four main categories such as organizational factors, operational factors, environmental factors, and technological factors. Among the identified risks, environmental factors have the highest risk, followed by operational factors, organizational factors, and technological factors. Using the results of the study, it can be expected that electronic service providers, managers, and government sectors are expected to focus their efforts on reducing the relevant risks through a proper understanding of the types of risks, considering the significance of each risk and making decisions on planning the services. The result is an increase in the quality of electronic service and customer satisfaction.
