The present research examines empirically whether domestic investors in the Tunisia Stock Market (BVMT) perceive voluntary disclosure to be value-relevant. The study is motivated by the market-based value-relevance literature in the U.S. and by the developments of accounting and stock markets in Tunisia. This research, explores through an investigation by questionnaire external auditors’ perception of the value relevance of voluntary information in the annual reports, it also uses panel data analysis to examine the association between voluntary disclosure and firm value. The Results reveal that external auditors discern that the politics of voluntary disclosure in the annual reports is minimalist. Results show, also, the interest that carries these auditors to nonfinancial and budgetary indicators and the utility of the annual report to the certification. After controlling profitability and size, regression results indicate a negative and insignificant relationship between voluntary disclosure and firm value. This lack of statistical significance supports the idea that there is a complex interplay of different factors affecting this association. However, this paper has contributes to that investigation in the context of emerging capital market in the North African Region.

This study aims to report the results of an investigation into the effect of accounting and market based performance measures on CEO compensation along with the moderating role of dividend policy. The study has utilized hierarchical multiple regression on a sample of 66 financial companies/banks listed on Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), for a 5-year period (2010-2014). The results indicate that there is positive and significant impact of accounting based measures (operating performance and firm size) on CEO compensation. In case of market-based measures only growth opportunities have significant and positive impact on CEO compensation. Significant negative impact of market share and insignificant effect of market performance on CEO compensation has been revealed. Contrary to agency theory, this study finds that dividend policy is not utilized as a substitute control device. Additionally, dividend policy cannot mitigate agency conflicts in financial sector of Pakistan due to its ineffective role as aligning mechanism. Overall, the results imply that inefficient dividend policy can further distort the pay-performance link.

The environmental movement led companies to consider ecology as a strategic decisional criterion. Concerns have started to be integrated in the study and practice of management and marketing. The object of this research is to propose a typology of Tunisian consumers in terms of their ecologically conscious behavior. More specifically, this work describes the identified groups based on socio-demographic variables (such as gender, age, income, socio-professional category and religiosity) and on the psychographic variable perceived consumer effectiveness. To this end, we conducted a questionnaire survey next to 200 consumers. The empirical results show the existence of four consumer profiles which are the convinced, aware, mitigated and resistant which led us to produce some useful recommendations for marketing managers wishing to be positioned on the ecological axis.

Today’s organizations need to promote profitability, reduce costs, increase market share, increase customers’ satisfaction and other cases that cause to increase validity and create value and meet organizational strategy, while reducing risks and costs in order to gain values and innovation for the organization. In this research, we aim to measure customer’s perspective from quality of provided services through mobile customer relation management. In this regards, we evaluate banking informatics corporations based on SERVQUAL model that use fivefold dimensions of quality of services. The goal of this research is to identify variables effective on customer relation management through mobile phone and its output variables and provide a model based on these variables. Hence, MCRM has been measured with effect of independent variables on outputs on study case of bank informatics organization (as a provider) and bank (as a customer). Questionnaires were used for data gathering from customers. The results showed that banks have found physical dimension and guarantee are closer to their expectations rather than other dimensions of quality, while dimension of accountability is far from their expectations. The correlation analysis between dimensions depicted that there was maximum correlation between dimensions of accountability and physical dimension, while there was minimum correlation between dimensions of empathy and capability of trusts. With respect to perceptions, there was maximum correlation between dimensions of guarantee and accountability, while minimum correlation was between accountability and trust capability.

It is an undisputed fact that the cost of Customer Retention is far lesser than that of acquiring fresh ones. Customer satisfaction is undoubtedly one of the strong factors ensuring customer retention. Several researches have been done in the past to identify factors influencing customer satisfaction and in turn leading to customer retention. With changing perceptions, preferences and markets, we find a need to reinvestigate what are the key factors of customer satisfaction affecting customer retention in Malaysian fast food industry. Product quality, service quality, prices, facility and emotional factor are selected as factors of customer satisfaction (independent variables) based on extensive literature review. The research uses primary data collected from 180 Malaysian fast food customers using a multi-factor questionnaire with a Likert-scale from 1 to 5. To ensure reliability and validity the questionnaire was checked by Cronbach’s Alpha and principal components analysis was carried out. Correlation and regression analysis is conducted using SPSS 21 to identify influence and impact of selected factors on customer retention. Descriptive statistics show that the most significant key factor of customer satisfaction is emotional factor followed by store facility, service quality and prices and the lease poor is product quality. Emotional factor and facility plays important role in customer satisfaction that ensures customer retention in Malaysian fast food industry.

So, any change in this important issue can question the economic stabilization of our country. But the question here is that who should specify the deposit and loan interest rates? Is this the duty of the Islamic governor or there is no need to his intervention, and the market itself can reach the equilibrium price based on the principle of freedom? To answer this question, we need to investigate it from the Islamic jurisprudence viewpoint; then after proving that determining the deposit and loan interest rates is a kind of pricing, the results of inspecting the issue of pricing can be used for deposit and loan interest rates determination. This article, firstly, explains the Islamic jurisconsults' views on pricing, then it introduces deposit and loan interest rates determination as kinds of pricing, and uses the results of inspecting the issue of pricing which can be used for deposit and loan interest rates determination.

We tacitly include real CPI, real interest rate, financial innovation, real GDP, and implied the ARDL Bound tests. Derived from empirical evidence, we revealed that financial innovation has quite a significant and positive impact on the short-term. In contrast, real GDP has a negative and meaningful relationship with real money demand function in Malaysia. The official real exchange rate has a positive and significant relationship with real-money demand, with an increase in the real exchange rate of one unit, boosting the long-term function with money demand by 0.97. Negative and significant relationships revealed that by raising 1% real GDP dissecting to decrease real money demand by 0.6395 in the Malaysian economy. Eventually, real money demand anticipated 13.0796 once all independent variable in the Malaysian economy is zero.

Economic growth is one of the major keys in the development of a country. This research aims to analyze the effect of capital accumulation growth, the regional minimum wages, and total factor productivity growth against Indonesia's economic growth. The analysis in this study uses the equation by the method of Error Correction Model (ECM). This study analyzed the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, both in the short-term and long-term. Estimation results show that in the short-term both the variable capital accumulation, the regional minimum wage and total factor productivity growth affect Indonesia's economic growth but in the long-term, there are two variables that influence positive and insignificant i.e. investment, the Regional Minimum wage affects economic growth in Indonesia. And Total Factor Productivity growth in the long-term have a positive and significant influence on economic growth in Indonesia. Thus, it can be concluded that Total Factor Productivity is the main determining factor affecting economic growth in Indonesia.
