One of the greatest technological changes and developments in international transportation is the foundation and prevalence of containers in this area. Nowadays, operators of transportation and trade use containers because of their high strength, the ability to store them on top of each other on the ship, its water proof material, no need for a covered storage room, the fact that it can easily and quickly be loaded onto a ship, truck, or train, fast transportation, minimum cargo damage during cargo operation & transportation, its security against thieves, they are reusable, packages can be sorted like trays, and they can be used on refrigerated ships since each container has a set of goods with a packing list and the accumulation of these goods in one large package decreases the number of packing lists and at the same time decreases the number of customs documents. Considering this topic, the dangers related to the ship’s stability while loading and discharging containers in ports will be reviewed and solutions will be brought up. The results of this study can help port and ship workers decrease these dangers while loading and discharging containers in ports.

Today, with fierce competition in attracting new customers, maintaining existing ones and gaining a greater market share, organizations across the world are obliged to develop new products and create distinctive features in them. With regard to the results, the levels of perceived quality, value and risk as well as the relative price and purchase intentions among the students (participants) are appropriate. This paper discuss knowledge of brand awareness and its crucial role which should be well known to marketing manager for the design of an organization`s marketing strategies. The purpose of this paper is to determine the brand awareness of high- and low-involvement products among students enrolled at Tehran University. A self-administered survey was completed by a convenience sample of 60 students of the Tehran University in Iran. The focal high-involvement product was laptop and the low-involvement product, shampoo. The results indicated similar awareness of high-involvement product brands and low-involvement product brands. Advertising played an equal role in the awareness of Laptop brands and Shampoo brands. The brand names which are easy to pronounce was far important for both Shampoo and Laptop brands. The item of best-selling brands had the most roles and the item of high quality had the least effect on consumer decision making. In addition, the results showed that the higher price brands are more important than well-known ones.

The purpose of this research is to deepening the conventional superficial view to the customer satisfaction, providing three-phase approach to measure customer satisfaction within the process of customer satisfaction management, and then designing a conceptual model for the manufacturing organizations. The study is of kind of mixed method research. The proposed model in this study is designed after reviewing the literature and analysis of more than 35 models and frameworks and interviews with experts and professors; then to validate and modify the model, the two-round Delphi technique and quantitative methods including scrolling is utilized. The results of this research include developing a conceptual model with 5 dimensions and 25 components for assessing customer satisfaction in manufacturing organizations. Also, the study showed that the current practices of survey (questionnaire) do not have enough efficiency to measure customer satisfaction. The proposed three-phase approach of the present research is consisted of three phase: the initial phase (questionnaire), the middle phase (expert panels), and the final phase (field visits) which complement each other and they are provided within the customer satisfaction management process. The main pillars of customer satisfaction in the final model developed in this study are consisted of 5 dimensions of quality and innovation, service and support, cost and utility, customer loyalty and corporate image. This model is applicable for manufacturing organizations (product-oriented), which are mainly placed in the group of large organizations. The research new approach towards measuring and managing customer satisfaction leads to the idea of recreating the intellectual system and the dominant notion in the field of customer satisfaction in manufacturing organizations. The proposed approach can improve the assessing style and method of customer satisfaction management from traditional paradigm of reactive and unilateral relationship (passive single-way) to the richer paradigm of bilateral and active relationship (proactive two-ways). In fact, this study is conducted to shift and change the focus from the customer satisfaction numeric index to the customer active participation in improving the quality of products.

This study examined how environmental accounting disclosure influences the market value of listed non financial firms in Nigeria between 2012 and 2020. The research design adopted is the longitudinal design. A total population of one hundred and twelve (112) listed non-financial firms was identified. A purposive sampling was used to generate a sample of seventy-two (72) listed non-financial firms sourced from firms’ annual reports. The dependent variable is the market value measured using earnings per share (EPS). The independent variable is environmental accounting measured by the index of environmental disclosure constructed using a content analysis; eight themes of the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI). The study employed panel feasible generalized least square regression technique for data analyses. The outcomes revealed that environmental disclosure influence earning per share as well as share price positively and significantly. Hence, this study found robust proof which suggests that environmental disclosure significantly influence market value of listed non-financial firms in Nigeria. The implication is that non-financial firms in Nigeria are yet to show much concern about the physical environment in which they operate; in terms of adherence to the environmental laws and standards, process and product related issues including those related to recycling, packaging, waste, pollution emissions and effluent discharges as well as provision of sustainability and other environmental related information. It recommends that corporate firms should prioritize the inclusion of environmental information in their annual reports as such has potential to bring about higher market value.

The purpose of this study is to develop a checklist (yardstick) which can be used widely across various industries employing mystery shoppers. This research paper focuses on the development of a checklist instrument after a detailed critical review of various theories, concepts and themes associated with mystery shopping. Mystery shopping is being used in many industries such as banking and insurance, Retail and marketing, Government department, entertainment etc., and hence a common yardstick has to be framed which could be used to measure the outcome of mystery shopping assignments. Thus, the research motivation is to construct a checklist for mystery shoppers to evaluate the mystery shopping field work. Selected research articles were taken to critically analyze the theme of mystery shopping. Rigorous efforts had been taken to understand the usage of mystery shopping in various industries to form a common pool of statements which forms the “The Dimensions of Mystery Shopping Program” (DMSP-checklist construction). To ensure the relevance of a common checklist which can be used across various industries, detailed explanation on how the variables had been selected has been explained. Qualitative software named Dedoose, which is now very popular in Social Science, has been used to find the most promising variables. The study concludes that measuring the customers shopping experience is more important for a mystery shopping filed work considering three important variables to be seen in checklist such as: product knowledge, service & customer experience.

Factors affecting rejection or acceptance of emerging technologies such as mobile banking have caused a high interest in researchers and consumers. Yet, understanding the risks of this technology has remained unknown in this infrastructure. This study aims to investigate multi-dimensional effects of trust and risk factors on initial acceptance of mobile banking. Thus, after representing a theoretical background using applied research method and questionnaire, a multi-dimensional investigation of effects of trust and risk factors on initial acceptance of mobile banking has been represented. The statistical population consists of the customers who referred to branches of bank Saderat across Qazvin city, that sample size (385) was obtained using Cochran formula. To measure validity of questionnaire with referral to scholars, validity of questionnaire was confirmed through Lawshe's formula, and its reliability was obtained through Cronbach's alpha formula. The results of this study indicate that trust and risk factors from six different aspects affect initial acceptance of mobile banking. To investigate effects of research variables, methods of inferential statistics including SPSS and LISREL software have been used. The results of research indicated that ninth hypothesis among 10 hypotheses was not confirmed.

Employers always seek to engage employees who are fit for the work, able to adapt to the changing trends in the business environment and contribute much to the organizations to the best of their abilities. It is however not automatic for an organization to achieve such objective. They must constitute programs and measures that would help them realize this goal and take employees to the level that would enable them to give their best to the organization. Using an online survey, a questionnaire was sent randomly to 460 employees within SMEs in Accra Metropolis out of which 400 responded to the questionnaire sent to them. The researcher explored the mediating role of Work Engagement on the relationship between Organizational Career Management and Career Satisfaction. OCM was categorized into three indicators, which are Career Planning, Career Development and Career Opportunity for the purposes of this study. The study revealed that Organizational Career Management (Career Planning, Career Development, and Career Opportunity) have an impact on employees Career Satisfaction and Work Engagement. It further showed that Work Engagement mediates the relationships between the independent variables and the dependent variable among employees in SMEs in Accra Metropolis. In view of this, the study recommends that, in order to promote career satisfaction and sustain work engagement among employees, SMEs should promote and incorporate Career Planning, Career Development, and Career Opportunity into their mainstream activities.

A 180-point daily exchange rate series of the Uganda shilling (UGX) and the United States dollar (USD) covering from 25 August 2014 to 20 February 2015 is analyzed by seasonal Box-Jenkins methods. A time-plot of the series shows an upward trend indicating a relative depreciation of the UGX. A seven-day differencing of the series yield a series that is adjudged stationary by the Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) Test. However, its correlogram contradicts a stationarity hypothesis. A non-seasonal differencing of this series produces a series adjudged as stationary and having an autocorrelation function that suggests two models, namely: a SARIMA(0,1,1)x(0,1,1)7 and a SARIMA(0,1,1)x(1,1,1)7. Diagnostic checking methods used to compare the two models reveal that the former model is the more adequate model. Hence it is proposed that the exchange rates follow a SARIMA(0,1,1)x(0,1,1)7 model. Forecasting might therefore be based on this model.

With technology development and the market conditions getting more competitive in different production and service sectors, loyal customer is considered as main capital of every organization. The expansion of internet global network has brought many benefits to all organizations including banks which along with considerable issues arise. Special equity of services including investment which became an important concept in marketing since 1980 is in fact the added value generated for the organization by using that service. The purpose of this research is to explain the loyalty of customers to investment through using electronic banking services in order to participate in advancing the economic projects, and also to empirically test whether this is related to trust in investment and investment special equity. Statistical population consists of customers of Saman bank in Mashhad city who have substantial account balance and are able to invest in economic projects suggested by bank. And their satisfaction with electronic banking services was investigated through random sampling. Needed information was collected using a questionnaire and correlations of variables were tested by means of Pearson correlation test and multiple regression. Analysis of the study findings using SPSS 16 shows that there is a positive correlation between trust in investment and investment special equity with customers’ loyalty to investment in economic projects by bank through using electronic services. And trust in investment and investment special equity are significantly related to two types of loyalty (attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty).

The increased knowledge about environment and decline in reservoirs of fossil resources has led the industry to enhance and produce other sustainable fuels by using renewable, which are environmentally acceptable. Biofuel is a kind of fuel derived from biomass resources. Biomass is also the source of fossil fuels that are used today; however, this biomass has been formed over long years. The reduction in fossil fuel resources and the destructive effect of these fuels on the environment have made researchers replace such resources. Therefore, the extant study presented a multi-objective mathematical model for a biofuel sustainable supply chain, by consideration of demand uncertainty. Finally, the research developed the mathematical model considering uncertainty and using Bertsimas and Sim Robustness Approach. According to the proposed model, sustainability objectives were discussed and investigated, including economic, social, and environmental issues. Ultimately, the presented model was confirmed by using the epsilon constrained method (ε constrained method) and the model was validated using the integrated ε constrained-Benders Approach.

Real earnings management reflects management intervention to manipulate earnings based on the company's normal business activities. This intervention is veiled and difficult to detect so it requires specialist auditors who expertise in industrial business practices. In the agency theory, the quality auditors representing external governance serves to reduce asymmetric information between management and shareholders and minimize agency costs. Auditor quality is determined by the auditor's ability and independence to detect abnormal business practices. Industry specialization auditors have the competence, expertise, and skills to find out whether or not there are abnormal business practices for the purpose of earnings manipulation. Meanwhile, client importance that reflects the level of economic dependence of the auditor on the client encourages the auditor to be ignorant or tolerant of manipulation of business activities for the purpose of management opportunism. This research was conducted on manufacturing and trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2012-2016 period. Observation is carried out on 430 data and analysis by multiple linear regression. The test results prove that the auditors of industrial specialization have a negative effect on real earnings management. Client importance also proved to have a positive effect on real earnings management.

In this work it was proposed to explore the relation between accounting information of Brazilian corporations and the return of their stocks. The approaches explored was the informational content and the semi-strong form of market efficiency as presented by (Fama, 1970). The sample contemplated data of 211 companies listed on BM&FBOVESPA. The accounting variables used was current liquidity, earnings per share and book value per share, and the period selected was between the second quarter of 2005 and the fourth quarter of 2015. The empirical strategy chosen was to perform econometric tests in a panel data structure, and collate results with a vector autoregressive analysis and temporal precedence tests. Besides the empirical approach, it was presented the characteristics of Capital Markets-Based Accounting Research and the state of arts of this branch in Brazil. Results had pointed to the validity of the semi-strong form of market efficiency. However, the totally disconnection between variables may characterize a capital market that agents had no confidence in the financial information provided by companies, once was evidenced that variables had no informational content. It may reflect the way Brazilian capital market is organized, with the existence of country-factors as bank-oriented funding system, continental model and the tendency of accounting of being taxes-oriented as brought by (Ali & Hwang, 2000).

The key purpose of this research is to determine if there are some connections between the trend of looking for internet goods and the propensity to shop online. This research further shows the association of demographic factors and online purchasing behavior among online customers. It is found from the review of the extensive literature that there have been conflicting opinions on the factors determining e-shopping behavior. A survey on the young adults was performed within Dhaka City. Descriptive statistics like cross-tabulation and independent chi-square tests of significance have been conducted to describe the survey findings. Finally, the researchers concluded that the search and comparison of products has a significant relationship with the positive tendency of the shopper to purchase the product online. Demographic factors like age, gender, and private transport facilities have significant associations among types of product searches, reasons for searching, and online searching platform. Household income also significantly associated with internet expenditure and frequency of product searching. The pattern of Internet use has a significant association with the frequency of online product searches but does not significantly associate it with successful online product purchases. Reasons for product searching, discouraging factors for online purchases, and other demographic factors have a duplex impact on successful online purchases of products.

The information asymmetry between management and owners raises an opportunistic attitude of management to attach importance to its own interests. In this case, investors need additional information in addition to financial statements as a signal that can reduce information asymmetry. This study aims to prove empirically about the influence of internal controls and ethics disclosures against possible fraudulent financial reporting. This study also examines the relationship between management intentions that are reflected in earnings management with fraudulent financial reporting. The sample in this research is 740 data consist of 708 data fraud and 32 data non fraud. The study was conducted in non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2015. The result of logistic regression analysis proves that information asymmetry can be reduced by voluntary disclosure ie internal control disclosure and ethics disclosure. Voluntary disclosure negatively affects fraudulent financial reporting. However, this study fails to identify earnings management as a sign of management intentions that can reduce information asymmetry.

The result of analysis reveals that Mobile Transfer and Point of Sales (POS) have both negative and positive impacts on the Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) for different years; while the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) exhibited strong positive impact on the Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP). The implication of these finding for stakeholders and researchers in the banking industry and national economy includes its exposition of prevailing factors hindering the impact of e-banking regime, the need for urgent policy to resolve them and pursue aggressive public awareness campaigns of e-banking.
