In the accounting position, there has been a great deal of spotlight on the utilization of blockchain innovation, particularly in developing countries, where apparently remarkable assumptions ought to be acknowledged in the near future. The objective of this study is to recognize the prerequisites that should be met for the effective execution of blockchain innovation in developing nations. Our study was directed with regard to Iran, a developing nation. A qualitative research method (thematic method) was employed for this study, with the statistical population comprising blockchain, information technology, and accounting specialists in Iran. By using purposeful and snowball sampling techniques, we collected a total of 20 samples. We conducted semi-structured interviews to gather data for later analysis. The result of this study revealed that IT infrastructure, institutional, social, strategic, and organizational requirements are all crucial prerequisites for the successful deployment of blockchain technology in the accounting industry in developing countries. The study offers a blockchain implementation roadmap for the accounting industry.

Investigation of budget deficit and government debt relationship with economic growth is one of the important topics in macroeconomic literature; Hence, the present study examined the role of budget deficit and government debt on financing the economic growth in 40 developing countries between 2010-2019. In this regard, the economic growth was defined as a function of financial development, budget deficit, government debt, government expenditure, human capital, inflation rate, trade freedom, and the interaction of budget deficit and government debt with financial development. To examine the relationships between variables, the panel data econometric model and the feasible generalized least squares method were used. The estimation results showed that in developing countries, financial development had a positive and budget deficit and government debt had a negative and significant effect on the economic growth. Also, the interaction effect of budget deficit and government debt with financial development on economic growth was negative and significant that showed budget deficit and government debt play a negative role in positive relationship between financial development and economic growth. In addition, government expenditure, human capital, and trade freedom had a positive and significant effect on economic growth, while the inflation rate effect on economic growth was not significant.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries. The Document and Library review was used to collect data. Then, the relevant information was extracted from the World Bank website. The necessary information was collected through the World Bank website (2000-2020) to analyze the information and hypothesis test. After collecting the required information for the considered countries, the research hypotheses were examined using correlation and regression analysis and the panel data statistical method, and the data was prepared for analysis. Then, Eviews 12 is used to perform the final analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and direct relationship between Healthcare expenditures as one of the indicators of life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries. It is also concluded that there is a negative and inverse relationship between Food Poverty as one of the sub-indicators of life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries, while there was a negative and inverse relationship between the Death Rate as one of the sub-indicators of life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries. In addition, there is a positive and direct relationship between Access to Educational Facilities as one of the sub-indicators of life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries. Finally, there is a positive and direct relationship between Median Household Income as one of the indicators of life expectancy at birth and economic growth in developing countries.

This article assesses the effects of international aid on the health sector in developing countries. We use estimation techniques such as Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), instrumental variables with fixed effects, and the dynamic panel approach. Using the data from various sources over the period 1990 to 2017 covering 126 developing countries, the initial results show that health aid contributes effectively and significantly to improved health outcomes in the developing countries at 1 and 5% of the significance thresholds. These results give the picture that the mobilization of the international community in favour of the health sector in the context of the MDGs through health aid has been more effective in achieving certain health goals from the 2000s onwards than before the Millennium Declaration. This study shows that it is in the interest of development partners, particularly those in the health sector, to significantly improve the survival and health of the populations of developing countries through health aid. It is recommended that development assistance policies be designed to take into consideration the existing institutional framework and how these resource flows interfere with, and therefore change, the incentive structure of recipient countries. The transfer of resources in the form of health aid to meet current needs must be complemented by other additional actions, such as education campaigns and infrastructure improvements, in order to achieve long-term improvement.

This paper presents a conceptual framework to help in the interpretation or design of contingent valuation studies for improving river water quality in a developing country setting. An extensive literature review helped design this conceptual framework. Though the betterment of the river water quality has drawn the attention from various stakeholders, dearth of studies to deliver precise information about the value of the water quality appears a major drawback in developing countries to implement improvement plans. The major objective of this paper is to review the recent developments on non-market valuation e.g., contingent valuation method to design an appropriate economic valuation study for the river water quality. This study provides useful information which may help for further improvement of the water quality in an alike problem of developing countries. Future studies should validate empirically the proposed research framework.
