This paper has tried to assess the impact of COVID-19 on stock return in different sectors listed under Dhaka Stock Exchange in Bangladesh during the period from 08 March 2020 to 15 September 2020. To measure the impact of COVID-19 on stock return, daily change in number of confirmed cases and deaths have been used as independent variables and DSE stock return has been taken as variable of interest. Data were collected from Bangladesh Government’s official portal, DSE archive and annual reports of listed firms. Sample is selected using two stage sampling method which is a probabilistic model. To test the validity of the used model, Pearson’s correlations analysis, Breusch and Pagan’s heteroscedasticity test, White’s homoscedasticity test and Hausman’s fixed random tests are conducted. After testing the validity, fixed effect method of panel data regression model has been used to test the two hypotheses. The result reveals that most of the sectors responded negatively to the growth in COVID-19 confirmed cases. It is also observed that selected sectors reacted more proactively to the growth in number of deaths as compared to the growth in number of confirmed cases. Where banking and textile sectors are the most sufferers to the growth of both confirmed cases and deaths, pharmaceuticals & chemicals industry proved out to be the gainers. The findings will have policy implications for the regulators as well as for the investors to design the optimum portfolio of investment. The study will add new dimensions to the existing literature.

This study intended to fill the gap of defining four different facets pertaining to which factors consumers perceived when fulfilling their Korean food cravings. Primary factors that are directly linked with the consumer consideration when selecting the Korean restaurant are surveyed and analysed. The research results can be used by owners or managers of Korean restaurant to enhance their current performance, services, and products by transforming business strategy in accordance with consumers’ preference perception. This research also enlightens managers from the different industrial sector to adopt the proposed strategies to increase the business success rate. To complete the research, a positivism quantitative research paradigm and a deductive research approach were selected. 100 sample size of consumers from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur were selected through snowball sampling. The statistical analysing method applied are one sample t-test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation and the research variables are quality of food, customer service, menu selection, reputation, cleanliness, and ambience. This study showed that the relationship between gender and purchase intention are statistically significant however ANOVA results proved no significant value result hence the test failed to reject the null hypothesis. On the other hand, it is concluded from the findings that there is no statistical relationship between age, gender, and ethnicity while making purchase decision for any Korean restaurant in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. The findings revealed that Malaysians have become highly interested in Korean food and generally prefer ramen, chigae, chimek and samgyupsal as their food choice. In addition, the report pointed out that among the 11 street foods, the most used term is "spicy", reflecting Malaysians' love for Korean food. Moreover, the factors perceived by customers hold greater significance for making a purchase decision for them regardless of the nature of the business.

This quantitative descriptive study aims to analyze the relationship between Information and Communication Technology (ICT) factors that have been adopted by local governments in Indonesia on the Public Accountability (Y). Using a purposive sampling technique, panel data were obtained as many as 450 observations from 150 districts in the 2017-2019 period. Descriptive analysis and regression of panel data using software Eviews 09. The findings of this study explain that ICT Determinants simultaneously show a relationship significant through the F-statistic test. While the t-test used to test the effect of each independent variable has various results. The partial test demonstrates that Technology Development (X3), Website Accessibility (X5), and Press Visibility (X6) affect Public Accountability, but the research has not been able to find a significant relationship between Telecommunication Networks (X1), Internet Access (X2), e-Government (X4), and Electronic Procurement (X7) on Public Accountability. The results of this study can be used as consideration for the government in formulating policies related to ICT in order to realize public accountability.

Information and communications technology (ICT) are interactive technologies that allow the creation or sharing/exchange of information, ideas, career interests, and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks (Internet, Instagram, and Telegram). The purpose of the present study is to prepare a structural modeling approach to explain the relationship between using ICT tools (cell phones, Internet, Instagram, and Telegram) and teenagers' depression in Maku Free Zone. The research hypotheses were tested with survey methods. The study population was adults between 17 to 18 years of age. In total, 265 participants were randomly selected according to Morgan Table and then the information was collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling SMART PLS. The findings showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the use of ICT tools (Cell Phones, Internet, Instagram, and Telegram) and teenagers' depression in the Maku Free Zone. Therefore, the misuse of the internet, cell phones, and social networks caused fewer face-to-face encounters and made them more introspective. In this way, individuals began to distance themselves from direct communication that resulted in depression and loneliness.
