This study is carried out to analyze cultural diversity factors influencing employee satisfaction in a joint venture electric power company operating in Indonesia. Quantitative research method is used to process this research, and collects and analyzes data base on questionnaire. The respondents of questionnaire are distributed in the company. The number of respondents are 100 persons which are employees of the company gathered by convenience method of non-probability sampling techniques for sampling design. Based on the output of SPSS 16.0 multiple regressions analysis, this research found religion, language and age have significant influence on employee satisfaction, while gender has no significant influence on employee satisfaction in the company. The result of this study is expected to help company have a better understanding on cultural diversity in an organization and cope with it.

This study explores moderating role of branch managers as gender on the service quality and customer’s loyalty in Private Banks of Pakistan. This study seeks additional insights through comparison of the strength of influence of gender as male and female. Data was collected using convenient sampling technique from 175 respondents of two large private banks through self-administered questionnaire. Statistical software package for social sciences was employed for data analysis Regression analysis and Andrew Hayes methodology of moderation has been used to analyze data. Response rate in this study was 87.50%.there is significant relationship of service quality with customer’s loyalty. Gender moderates the association of service quality and customer’s loyalty. But, impact of male gender is higher than female as moderator on relationship of service quality and customer’s loyalty. Male branch managers moderate the association of service quality and customer’s loyalty. There is non-significant impact of female branch managers on the relationship of service quality and customer’s loyalty. This study will help the management of banks to assess and improve level of service quality in retail banking in order to retain existing customers, grasp new customers and enhance their loyalty.

This paper examines the impact of nature born leader qualities on project team performance. This research also studies the influence of demographic factors (age, and gender) on the impacts of a nature born leader qualities intention in projects perspective. A quantitative technique was adopted in this research. Data were collected through questionnaire survey from Pakistani project. Questionnaire form covered all variables and collected data analyzed through SPSS. Regression Analysis and Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed-rank tests were applied to test the hypothesis and make inference from the collected data. Statistical analysis revealed the impact of natural born leader qualities on both subjective and objective performance of project teams. Finding also supported the proposed hypotheses about influences of demographic variables. The findings address a number of weaknesses in literature by providing statistical evidence of the influence demographic characteristics. The findings can thus help theoretically; and practically to project manager by understanding the conflict resolution of different age and gender of their followers. This research also benefit for the research scholar engaged in pursuing literature on leadership behavior, project management and performance.

This study aimed to analyze the role of women in management functions of small businesses such as planning, organization, motivation, staffing and supervision. The study was conducted in Malang Municipality using a survey method, to women who managed small enterprises that get funding urban poverty alleviation program (P2KP = Program Pengentasan Kemiskinan Perkotaan). Data collected from respondents randomly selected through interviews using a questionnaire and in-depth interview and then analyzed descriptively and gender analysis. The results showed that women managers of small enterprises have a relatively large role in the planning, organization, motivation, staffing and supervision in their businesses. The role of women in management functions is more dominant than her husband, either alone or together. Empirical evidence on the important role of women in small businesses will be a consideration for policy makers.
