This qualitative study examined Work-Life Balance (WLB) experiences of millennial married women workers in Bekasi area using a phenomenological study. Purposive Sampling techniques and semi-structured in-depth interview were used to gain depth into workers’ understandings of work-life balance experiences. This study analyzed responses from 10 millennial married women workers in Bekasi area. Findings of this study identified 9 themes from the respondents’ responses. Findings revealed that Focus, Time management and Communication and Company/Supervisor and Family Support themes have become dominant strategies for the respondents to manage their WLB and WLB conflict experience. These themes gleaned from this study are expected to be important and become a significant contribution to further research and practical knowledge for decision maker.

Many factors influencing students’ achievement in their academic field. One of them is Emotional Intelligence (EI). The purpose of this research is to examine the role of Emotional Intelligence on academic achievement among business program undergraduate students of President University. A qualitative study is used based on students’ perceptions and experiences and how it impacts to academic achievement. A survey was conducted by using purposive sampling technique. Six students were selected to be the participants of this qualitative research. Semi-structured interview were conducted to investigate students’ perception in EI and academic achievement. The results of this study showed that 1. In their personal qualities, most students cared about self-awareness and self-management of EI components. 2. Most students realized that their perceived EI has high contribution to their academic achievement. 3. Students controlled themselves in the context of relationship, adaptation, and caring to their environment. In other words, they implemented two components of EI especially in social awareness and relationship management. Finally, all students realized the importance of EI in their university experience especially in self-management and relationship management. The result of this study indicates that EI has an important contribution to students’ lived experience and academic achievement in a university.

This study is carried out to analyze cultural diversity factors influencing employee satisfaction in a joint venture electric power company operating in Indonesia. Quantitative research method is used to process this research, and collects and analyzes data base on questionnaire. The respondents of questionnaire are distributed in the company. The number of respondents are 100 persons which are employees of the company gathered by convenience method of non-probability sampling techniques for sampling design. Based on the output of SPSS 16.0 multiple regressions analysis, this research found religion, language and age have significant influence on employee satisfaction, while gender has no significant influence on employee satisfaction in the company. The result of this study is expected to help company have a better understanding on cultural diversity in an organization and cope with it.

This study examined the influence of employer attractiveness, corporate reputation, and the use of social media towards intention to apply for a job at Schneider Electric Indonesia. This study used quantitative research with multiple regression model. There were 100 fresh graduate students selected randomly as respondents of the research. The findings of this study showed that employer attractiveness, corporate reputation, and the use of social media has significant influence toward Intention to apply for a job at Schneider Electric Indonesia. The result also showed that employer attractiveness, corporate reputation had significant influence, while the use of social media did not give a significant influence with intention to apply for a job.

Financial crisis previously happened in the West makes many Asian countries, including Indonesia, hit by its ripple effect. Indonesia, especially, sees its stock markets suffer and currency values face a downward trend which is resulting on the growth of Indonesia GDP per capita also suffers from the effect. Despite the economic downturn, Indonesia internet using has increased and e-commerce business of product and service offerings have evolved significantly in recent years. This research is to study this phenomenon by using consumers decision-making styles model with its dimensions: quality-conscious consumer (X1), brand-conscious consumer (X2), recreational consumer (X3), price-conscious consumer (X4), and habitual consumer (X5) towards Purchasing Behavior (Y) as the variables with A total of 100 of people who live in Jakarta and ever purchased through online store were chosen as the respondents for this study. The researcher is using multiple regressions as statistical method and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the result, quality-conscious consumer (X1), price-conscious consumer (X4), and habitual consumer (X5) are found to have partial significant influence towards purchasing behavior of online shopping. Research also found that quality-conscious consumer, brand-conscious consumer, recreational consumer, price-conscious consumer, and habitual consumer have simultaneously significant influence towards purchasing behavior (Y).
